This is my first time recording anything in almost two years. Me and a couple of buddies decided to start a stupidly low tuned project.

The guitars are an Ibanez RGA8 tuned in DADADEAD. Through a 5150 and Marshall 1960 cab. No TS. Single 57

Bass is Zombass 3 through a sansamp

drums are Grisly gallows samples with superior cymbals.

I must say these are amazing samples, there has been no processing on the snare, room or kick track. only levels. A bit of EQ on the toms.

Let me know how it sounds.. It's been a while since I've touched anything audio production.

Thanks man!

Anyone know How the low end sounds? I only have 5" monitors and my headphones are misplaced. On these small monitors I can't really get a good idea about how the bass sits.

the low end is a bit "sharp" boosted at about 65hz (like with a narrow Q), maybe you wanna use a little more frequency range down there instead of having a lot in that mentioned range... BUT it sounds good what you did, so maybe ignore what i just said, lol

Thanks man, I literally just HP'd the bass at like 50hz just because I knew with the tuning its in it would be mud city.. I'll have to take a look at the region your talking about though.

It was actually the "GARAGE OF GENOCIDE" That room is IMO the best of them all, it has so much fucking vibe in it!

Here is another example I have.. A bit more processing on this one though.. The kick is a mix of the gallows kick and your Panzer kick and the snare is accented with the same gallows snare detuned and one shot, small high end boost and clipping. Toms are the same as the other clip.

Love that snare, man. Sounds very similar to the one here:

I'll definitely be buying when I can spare the cash.
