Low end/sub experiments.... UK Blackened Death Metal

Only listening on headphones at work so I can't judge low end etc. I love the modern dirtiness to this, reminds me of a clean and punchy black metal mix. On my headphones I can barely hear the kick btw

Cheers man, thanks for taking the time to listen. I've got a soft spot for Black Metal and love working on that sort of stuff!

Interesting that the kick isn't coming through, what headphones were you using if you don't mind me asking? I normally mix kicks behind snares, I hate overly clicky/loud kicks.

The band are happy with it, I just haven't heard it for a few weeks and now starting to think I went a little overboard with the subs.

Don't hear anything with the sub's. Actually gives some nice, dark tone to it.
Any tips on handling these amounts of sub's during the mastering process?
