Lyrics to MAYH?

actually, what you might be missing is that the instrumental interludes/small pieces have NO lyrics...just read those texts while listening to those tracks. The title of each song is highlighted in the booklet. Every title is the last word of the lyrics from the song before.

Mikael gave a really great explanation of MAYH. It's.. on that interview site. With the really long interviews. Done after MAYH, SL, and BWP. I have no idea what that site is now.

Anyway, this guy dies, and he thinks he and this woman were in love even though they never really spoke of it. And she did care for him a lot, but when he wanders back to her house and sees her not grieving 24/7 he thinks it was all a lie. Basically that whole betrayal thing is just a misunderstanding. That's something I didn't know before reading the interview. Then he tries his hardest to appear and bring her with him, and she just runs away in terror. And then stuff happens and he eventually is able to move on in the afterlife.

That's what I remember, and most of that I'd gathered from reading the lyrics.

Also if you notice, it's basically about a year he spends as a ghost. April Etheral, "White summer...," Demon of the Fall, and "...winter's epilogue." The circular nature of the lyrics suggests something, as does the song title "Karma."

There's a lot to analyze here. If I ever have to do one of those dumb school assignments where I choose a written work and analyze it, I know what I'm picking.

Actually there are lyrics in these parts, but no vocals. They're part of the story however.. interludes was the appropriate word :) Also notice that the last word of Epilogue's lyrics is Prologue.. as if the story keeps going on..
