Found a really good deal on one of these, so good I might get one anyway, but I'm wondering if any of you guys have any experience with one of these, are they any good?

They look like a useful piece of kit for the project studio, the ability to use M-Powered helps as well.

I though you needed to purchase the production toolkit to get more tracks, didn't know a piece of hardware would change the limit.

I played with one in a music store once. Seemed all right, I'd buy it over the 002 for the price. 4 more mic pres, Word Clock I/O and some other things.
Hmmm now that I think about it... I can't remember what but I think there was some problems with it someone was complaining about on the Digidesign Forum (DUC) but I can't quite remember. You may want to do a search over there and read the threads.
Most seemed pretty happy with it besides whatever the glitch was and said the pres sounded better than the 002's.

You should go and talk to Roy at Sound Control in Derby, tell him Andy (Liquid Sky album engineer) sent you and I'm sure he can do you a great deal on a new Project Mix if you want one.
