Alright, I've noticed that this song doesn't get mentioned much on the board (maybe because it's more of an interlude than a song) so I felt the urge to single it out and highlight.

I really get a nice vibe from this song... I really don't know what else to say, but it really has a nice, kind of spacey vibe to it... if anyone has played it, it kind of reminds me of some Deus Ex music.

Any comments are welcome...

Doesn't get mentioned much? WHAT! When did this happen! The first time I listened to Opeth was MAYH and right after When as Madrigal started... I fell in love with Opeth.

Fear, misery and wonder in a minute twenty-five. The Official Site used to have this great intro. It had Madrigal looped, playing over and over with this little intro of the guys and the releases so far. It was great.

That's what made me doctor up Madrigal into a continuous loop. Hearing it played over and over on that site.

Madrigal, the intro to The Amen Corner...was how I "got into" Opeth. It reminded me of what Sabbath used to do and I was a big Sabbath fan.

Madrigal is cool.
