Not sure how much interest in this there is. Personally, I wasn't really interested, until I heard that Nobuto Uematsu was going to be there with his new band.

For those not familiar with it, it is the Music and Games Festival, which has been held in this area for the past decade. They just moved to new digs at the Gaylord Convention Center.

First off, I didn't realize there were so many bands who did stuff on video game music, or that there were so many ways to do it. I only saw a fraction of the bands, but there is some pretty good music to be had.

anyways, I'll leave with some of what I filmed of Earthbound Papas' set, Nobuto's band, to show why I was excited to see them.

Thanks for recording and sharing this! It's exactly what would have drawn me and since I missed it I'm happy to "not really miss it"

Glad you enjoyed it. I have two more videos from the concert which I haven't put on YouTube yet. An 11 minute video of them doing "Dancing Mad" and the encore. I'll get around to putting those up maybe this weekend.

Of course Rolfe had to take a crack at this.

Yeah, it looks like his Q&A is here:

People did complain as to why they put him into one of the smaller rooms, but I can say the bigger rooms were booked up with other things. For example, I couldn't get into Ellen McLain's (Voice of GlaDOS) panel because that was a full room.

Edit: Wrong! That was last year's panel. Here is this year's panel:
