The good thing about Brisbane is that they usually play at smaller venues like the Arena. This means you can get up close and personal, the atmosphere's more intimate, and the price is right.

I saw Priest in 2001 for AUD55, Megadeth for about the same, Steve Vai for AUD38 and Opeth charged AUD30(!) this April if I'm not mistaken.

Maiden would not play at the Arena. They'd better not, anyway. They'd play at the Entertainment Centre or perhaps the Convention Centre. Not the Arena.

I think if they do tour, they will only play in Sydney and Melbourne.

Meh. I don't really care anymore. Not sure if I'll bother going if that's the case - if they haven't found the time or effort to come to Brisbane since 1985 or whenever it was, then I'm not sure if I can be bothered seeing them in Sydney. Or Melbourne.
