I've been recording some guitar parts using the 8505 vst in Reaper and I'm getting some serious noise issues.
I'm using the exact chain as I did in the Blackwater Park competition:
TSS -> 8505 -> Boogex -> EQ and I'm getting ungodly amounts of noise both whilst monitoring and during playback.
I suspect it's due to the quality of the DIs, since for BWP I used Marcus' DIs.
Anyway here is the DI and here is the processed signal.
