mark iv clip (not song just small thing)

hi. i just moved into a new room a couple of months ago and this is the first things i recorded in there due to time constraints and lazyness.


it's a mark iv b head double tracked. i also played bass (direct) and drums. i'm not the best at those instruments. i forgot to include the kick drum in the mixdown so i will fix that.

i'm still relatively new at this whole production/mix thing so cut me slack. it's a lot better than stuff i've done b4 and i absolutely love the mark iv. and am going to track a lot of stuff i'm going to seriously record with it. this isn't really a song just a riff i came up with and played a couple of times. i gotta tweak it a little. before i really record all the songs i've gotten recorded i wanna get as good as i could mixing and recording.

There seems to be some tuning/ fingering issues between the two guitars and them and the bass. The guitars themselves sound quite distant too.

the bass was in different tuning altogether but i played it right. i think i missed a note but once again my goal wasnt to make a song just to work on getting a good recorded guitar sound. the riff itself is like an odd chord bend so i intentionally wanted to make it like out of tune so to speak. but i mean once again, i just did it on the spot, i'm not producing an album.

what did you mean by distant nebulous?
