Allready have a Marshall Valvstate 120/120 in my rack, but perhaps there is more bad-ass sounding amps out there, so I was thinkin' about those Marshall EL34 series....just want some more "juice"...

I'm very happy with my Marhall JMP-1 (broken now, but I plan for service...)....sounds the way I want, but I kind of want an amp that amplifies my sound in the right direction. My cab is a Marshall JCM800 Lead w/stereo mod (yummy).

So, as i'm aiming for that Pantera/Meshuggah/FearFactory wound, would you guyes rather go for the 50/50 or the 100/100 version?

I've got the 9005, the predecessor to the 50/50 and that gives sooo much volume it isn't funny. If your gonna be using a mix of pre+power-tube saturaration you'll get the 'sweet spot' at a much more acceptable level (and I do mean usable in both the studio & live). It's good to see someone else around here that doesn't just use a 5150mkII
