Are these guys heavy on the hardcore side or more metal? I've heard good things about them.

if you are talking about the canadian band, they play jazz/death metal. It's alright, their last one was mediocre but their first 2 are pretty good.

they're on Galy records (canadian label) but they might be distributed by Relapse, Century and the End..

I've got Warp Zone and Hopeless hopes. I wouldnt really call them hardcore personally, although some of their songs do have segements which are akin to some hardcore, post metalcore music.

I saw them live last week and actually fell asleep leaning against an amp while watching their set. They struck me as the ultimate generic tech death band. Maybe their albums are better.

I thought the new one was brilliant, the vocals could have been more growly and less core, but the musicanship on these guys is fucking amazing, the sound is great too, I think it's by the same guy who produced Trivium..
