Just had to put this album on. It's been too long.

But I think bands do write music that is much more colourful. It's just not as accessible or as popular as Metallica were/are. People who are always putting Metallica down are so wrong because so many people listen to them once and get hooked. That's good song writing for you there.

Well we wouldn't know how much he produced the album to be fair... But he's a great engineer.

I have major beef with the sound of the album. It's not in your face, at all. When I put on, regardless of the volume, it lacks punch. That's just my opinion though.

I just wish it had the balls of a certain Slayer record released in the same year...

I know what you mean, it's not as aggressive as most other thrash albums, and that's probably why a lot of thrash fans lose interest in it. But the main thing I love about MoP is the songwriting, they are just all amazing compositions.
