I think Novembre, like any other band, would have a good promotion through file sharing... the more people knows and listen to them, the bigger will be their audience and buyers... just my experience.

I agree...
without sharing, I maybe wouldn't ever hear Novembre.
when I hadn't fast internet connection I hardly ever bought a album.
now.. I've bought: all Opeths, all System of a downs, some novembre, agalloch, inflames ect. and I'm very broud of them. thx to internet.

I understand recordcompanies' worrys but I think sharing doesn't have any particular impact in cd bussiness.

...just my opinion

Record companies should better think about the taxes politics in every country, about being less hungry and more honest about production costs and they will sell more cds... there will always be the miserable ones that don't care about the artists and about the beauty of an original cd, but those are lost: it's better to attract people with a good offer and letting them know the bands, through file sharing too...

i just got an email from amazon, saying theres going to be a delay and the earliest they will be able to ship "Materia" is June 14th.

canceled that order! I'm not waiting another month, only to come on here and read everyones comments about how good the album is.

where does everyone else plan on getting it from?

I preordered Materia from a norwegian recordstore called "Tigernet" today. They said I would get the cd in my mail somewhere around the 17th, maybe a few days later if they had to order it from sweden.

I can't wait much longer! Especially after hearing the Aquamarine sample
