Maw ha ha I return!

Yes, someone has to be the flavor in this mess, so I will be the Atheist/Agnostic/Apatheist/Transsexual/Evil Liberal to balance you all out. lol

One could argue that you cannot be an agnostic and an athiest at the same time.
But that's a conversation for another day... And since your apathiest, i'll stop talking about it.

Good to have you back!

Actually since you mention it simple explaination is Atheism Lack of a deity, Agnosticism = lack of knowledge of a deity. I am in both those boats!

And thanks!

She's actually right. However, agnosticism is not lack of knowledge of a deity but rather holding the belief that there will never be a way to prove the existence of such deity.

You can be Christian agnostic. You can be atheist agnostic. You can be Hindu agnostic. You can be apatheist agnostic. But you can't be just agnostic. It'd be like calling yourself non-denominational without stating you're a Christian.

I also don't think you can be atheist and apatheist at the same time. Apatheism implies disbelief without care towards it either way. Atheism shows that you do actually have strong feelings toward the idea that there are no deities in existence.

Welcome back!

Well that's correct due to the lack of knowledge.

Apatheism can imply atheism, as it hits home the I do not know, care or believe any sort of deity exists. Passive atheism, I do not seek to convince anyone else.

I would say: Agnosticism = lack of knowledge of a deity + some knowlege of a diety. Basically throwing your hands up and saying I dont believe either way.
Meaning, you neither believe nor disbelieve.

Saying you're an athiest would indicate the latter, negating the title of agnosticism. At least thats how I think about it. I aint no religiologist.

Why not just say athiest and done with it? Since it has a wikipedia page I guess I'll concede that its a real thing.

But you can be whatever you want! And be all you can be according to the army.

But that's exactly what Agnosticism means, from Greek, A-without +Gnosticism-Knowledge. So without knowledge. To say I do not know implies no knowledge of the situation at all. BUT remember this does not mean the person actively denies a deity.

Woah woah woah! We get to do re-introduction posts? How come I didn't make one? I think I'm the most famous person here ;). Well... other than the band members. LOL!

Welcome back anyways. There are less trolls here now so I don't think you have much to worry about as long as you are not trolling on threads yourself (Truman will kill you if you do so so I do not advise such activity).

Cool. Do you like theocracy? Or are you just here to stand out?

Do you atleast like metal?

Here is part of the backstory you are missing:

From the thread Your Connection With Theocracy

By time I found them I already listened to a lot of power metal, prog, etc. Already loved stuff like Stratovarius, Angel Dust, Kamelot, Smyphony X, and a ton of others. I was looking for more stuff along the lines of Angel Dust and then branched out finding Theocracy during my hunt.
