Good job,again.

Do you use drumagog for triggering? If you use,do you bounce it to new track and cut&move those misstriggered let's say tom fills to right places manually?I got lots of problems triggerin fast drumfills with drumagog...

Hows that quantizin vid?lol

Cheers!

haha i really need to make that video...I have no idea how to set it up so that it records sound while i edit stuff in pro tools though:erk:

i usually go through and hand edit all of the misfired trigger hits band hand. I have it set up pretty well to where a solid drummer will have very few issues with misfires. There will definitely be a few though. I rarely bounce the drumagog tracks down though. I just leave the trigger track with drumagog on it even on the final mix bounce.
I only bounce drumagog drums to their own tracks if there is some kind of effect i need to do to the drums that i can't do otherwise.

make sense?
probably not hahao_O

Thanks for the reply and all other infos.

I think i have to try that putting samples by hand on tomfills.I have noticed that my drumagog is sometimes triggering well and when listen again it's not so good anymore.:zombie:I'm not using triggers in my toms so it might be the problem. That's why i'm thinking bouncing to a new track and do my edits to that track.I hate this triggering shit...:erk:
Or maybe it's just a user issue.

Or i have to learn micing drums better and forget this triggering mess.:loco:

BTW: What slate toms you are using?

If you're not using triggers, try running a high pass before drumagog, and take out everything below 1k, and add a nice think boost around 4-5k. That should make drummagog trigger muuuuccchh more cleanly.

Then if there are hits that are double triggering, just copy a hit that doesnt double trigger, and paste it over the hit that is double triggering.

The top samples on this song are the Fat Toms, all Z1. I tend to alternate between those and the new maple toms depending on the band.
