Mayhem ... WTF?

Real bones or no, any metal fan should see Mayhem live. Especially now that Atilla is fronting the band again. You mean you don't care to see the voice behind De Mysteriis Dom Satanas? posers.

+1. I'm really kinda pissed that their upcoming Atlanta show is during RoD.

Really? Maybe it's just me and maybe I suck, but I always found that album to be quite literally, sophomoric. It has a few nice moments but it is overall kind of boring and I think it only really gets the attention it gets because Euronymous wrote it and it was his last performance. I always thought Burzum was way better though than Mayhem, having to this day never made a bad album, even despite the fact that Varg is a piece of shit.

Eh, I think both albums Varg released while in prison are absolute crap. Not a huge fan of his post-release work either...they each have a few good songs, but get boring pretty quickly. But yeah, overall I prefer Burzum to Mayhem, too.

^^^never seen 'em but De Mysteriis is pure black metal bliss, Funeral Fog's insidious snarl permeates the brain like, er, a funeral fog...!

Fret not, American and Canadian legion, as Mayhem will have something coming up next year that will make this up to those of you who have been disappointed by this news.
