Well, here's my second try at recording, "mixing" and "mastering" my own stuff. Riffs are pretty simple, as I was experimenting with the sound itself. A few words about it - I'm really a beginner, so the only mastering I've done is to reduce the levels to non-clipping values :loco: Two guitars, each double-tracked (that's all my processor can handle), use this chain: TS Secret> SimuAnalog JCM900 > Boogex (FRMS impulses from Sperimental Pack).
Some remarks and thoughts:
-There's no bass, so I kinda tried to compensate by boosting the lower frequencies on the guitars.
-Drums may be a little quiet and with too much reverb, I'm still trying to decide what type of sound I want.
-The whole thing is rather quiet, turn up your volume (sorry for that)
-REALLY sloppy playing, I know :D
-No EQ used on the guitars except for HP/LP
-I applied a lot of compression on the snare and kick; the kick still sounds more like a heartbeat than a kick drum, how do I fix this?

Any and all feedback greatly appreciated!
