Megadeth is over

After having been a fan of megadeth for 15 years, I find this a sad, yet inevitable end to a great band. I have to admit that megadeth hasn't really caught my attention that much since youthanasia, but the classics are on constant rotation, and will continue to be so until I'm so old I can't hear the difference between hangar 18 and britney's hit me baby one more time...
RIP Megadeth

It seems to me that Mustaine's been having this problem for years(hence simpler music), and that he could have toughed it out for another year if he had wanted to. In a way, that makes me respect him, because he was tough and hung in there, but in contrast, it pisses me off, because their next album should have been thier big comeback album, in the vein of Rust In Peace, and yet they decided to quit now, with TWNAH, a luke warm effort, as their last album. WTF Dave? IMO, going out on a weak note is just as bad as releasing a follow-up to Risk.

In any case, Megadeth had quite a bit of great music in their catalogue, and I'm sad to see them throw in the towel. May Megadeth Rust In Peace.
