Megadeth - Thirteen Album cover and track listing

Couple of things - I wonder if it's the same Black Swan that was a bonus track a couple of albums back? It seems a bit weird but I loved that song. Also New World Order is a really old Mega song from about the Countdown era as I recall. Is this the same song re-recorded?

yes, Black Swan is the same from the bonus track. New world Order was a demo during the Youthanasia era.

<< Sigh >>
That album cover is weak. I would love to design a cover for Megadeth.

Btw, the song "Public Enemy No.1" is streaming on the Megadeth home page.

Why is it that throughout the last four albums, people always claim how the new album is great...yet when it's the months leading up to the new one being released, fans say how they didn't like the previous one but are looking forward to the new one? It seems to be the case with Megadeth more than any other band it seems.

I do agree drmetal8...that album cover is indeed weak. They've had some badass album covers but certainly this isn't one of them.

The cover for Endgame was weak too. Anyway, I guess the music is the important thing. I have enjoyed all their albums, and I thought Endgame was solid.

Agreed again on Endgames being weak as well. Now, United Abominations I thought was cool (even though it was a bit of a clusterfuck!)

I am huge deth fanboy and I like the song a lot as well but there are a couple of things which I must bring up. Firstly the production seems too polite to me. It's good enough but the last two albums with Sneap were massive and this is much weaker sound wise. Also Dave's vocals are really quite bad on some lines. Granted he's never gonna pull out wicked vocals, but here he sounds very punky an dirty which maybe is what the song needs I don't know but he seems to lack power and also his vocals sound way too clear in the mix meaning you can hear the deficiencies too clearly. If he was balanced a little more in check and the guitars were a little louder then his lack of vocal skill wouldn't matter so much. Any way I'm a first day Mega buyer since Megadeth is my fave band of all time.

Never Dead. A ripping thrashy song this one. Reminds me of Rust in Peace material and sounds pretty much like a remake of Tornado of Souls the way the vocal lines are spat out. I like this one more than PE1. The song is not catchy really but the riffs rip you holes where you never had'em before.

A friend of mine heard about the possibility of a tour with Volbeat and Motorhead. I still need to see Motorhead.

GIGANTOUR 2012 - MEGADETH, MOTÖRHEAD, VOLBEAT, LACUNA COIL

Megadeth is excited to re-launch for the first time since 2008 its critically acclaimed package festival Gigantour. The multi-artist bill — with metal heavyweights Motörhead, Volbeat and Lacuna Coil all personally picked by Dave Mustaine — will kick off in early 2012 with dates tentatively set for late January through early March.

LaKoRNa Coil is touring again? Oh, goody. :bah: Well, at least they are a good bathroom break before Volbeat and Motorhead.

Now, any resemblance to the band called Lacuna Coil that made In a Reverie, and the band that currently calls itself Lacuna Coil, is purely a coincidence.

Not to stoked about the Gigantour line up. A lot less bands and none of them im dying to see. I guess nothing will beat the first Gigantour for me with Dream Theater, Symphony X and Nevermore(plus the attempt to have PoS on the bill)
