Melodic death metal in drop C#, need help with guitar tone/mix! [S2.0, TSE, 7170]

Yo peeps!

Been mixing this song for a good few hours now, but this guitar tone just won't seem to get any better, and I can't figure out what to do with the lead (that dimdomdimdom background thingie). I need your ears and opinions asap!

I did an update on the mix. Different kick, snare and so forth. You should check it out!

Hi! I would fist off boost the snare, then i would try giving the bass some body. maby boosting around 2500-3500 khz? I think the guitars sound good. Good job

That's a great guitar tone, what settings/impulses are you using (if you are!) The mix sounds great as well, I think it's rather well balanced!

Did an update, this time with a bit more "body" to the bass, made a huge difference for sure! Also, this time around I'm using Slate samples for kick and snare, and the "mastering" is done with ozone. Check it out:
