Melodic Deathcore/Metalcore Mix

Been working on a metal core project in my spare time, finally got around to finishing up a demo for an album i'm slated to wrap up in a couple months. Constructive criticism regarding mix is appreciated.

Guitars are very thin in my opinion and the ratio music to vocals isn't quiet good. Maybe get the mix thicker and the back off the vocals a bit.

What are the good amp/cab sims these days? I plan to retrack everything except drums. These were initially scratch tracks.

Amps that I can recomment are: BIAS Desktop, TSE X50, Ignite amps Emissar, JST ToneForge, LePou Lecto, LePou Le456b, LePou Legion, Peave ReValver 4, Kazrog ReCabinet 4, PodFarm

Cabs: Bias Desktop's own Cabs, Two Notes Audio Wall of Sound III, Messiah Cabs, ReCabinet 4, Peve ReValver 4, Podfarm...

Or just get a Kemper or AXE FX

Would you say going line out from my 6505+ head into ReCabinet sound better or worse than a 100% digital amp chain?

If you wan't to record guitars without a "real" box, try to get a Two Notes Torpedo Live. It's a Loadbox and Cab Sim in one and the Cabs sound great.

For myself I don't use Recabinet so I can't tell aboit it's quality. But I guess there's nothing better than a proper miced Cabinet.
