Sounds like there's a lot of low-mids that could be cut out, and the guitars sound kinda muffled and pushed back. I dig the music.

Yeah, low mids are way too prominent, try cutting some 500-1.5KHz stuff too to remove the 'cardboard' stuff.

Personally I'd use some good transient designer on the snare, and make it SNAP
