Ive been visiting this forum for a while now and had never posted anything. This is a song my band recorded for a new ep. Recorded at watchmen recording studios by Doug White and mixed by me.

thanks for the input. how can i add ambience to it ? im a bit of a rookie when it comes to that kind of stuff.

Not bad for a rookie mate. I always back the underdog. Guitars are coming across a bit middy on the Yammys here, but nice work for the limited riffage.

can anyone give me some tips on how to bring the snare out a little bit? i feel like it sounds pretty lifeless.

I think a nice plate reverb would definitely do the trick, definitely sounds good!

Boosting around 150-250 Hz on the snare usually adds the thickness, boosting around 3-5k brings out the crack and clarity.

Sending the drums to a brightish room reverb, and a little bit of guitars to another should ad a little space.
