Melodyne DNA Demo on di guitars

Sounds pretty good, would be fine in a mix. Something about how the string is resonating sounds slightly off though, I'm not experienced enough to put a name to it though but it still sounds like a string that is not tuned perfectly or it's intonation is off slightly or something? Maybe it's just me?
Awesome tool though, and like I said, in a fuller mic this would sound awesome.
Would love to see this in action on vocals.

I tried out the demo today, and pitch correcting a chord made it sound extremely phasey, there is no way it could be used in a mix for what I tried it on

Did you try it on a DI or a wet track?

DNA aside, does the new version of melodyne sound any better?? i.e. for tuning vocals... have they improved the sound at all or just added DNA?

I tried the demo and I thought it sounded fantastic. And all the possibilities made it feel an almost addictive tool, which is slightly worrying. I think I'm going to buy the cheapest-ass version of this when I have some terrible vocalists to record
