Problem with amp sim sound turning off and on intermittently

I'm using Pro Tools 8 on a new laptop, and I'm having a problem with amp sims going out and in intermittently during live playback (and bounce). On my desktop I never had this problem so it's got me totally stumped. Here is an example of what it sounds like

Hmmm that's odd. Your CPU isn't being hogged up, I take it?

Did you print the amp sim tracks separately from the entire mix first?

No I didn't because I'm still testing different sounds. I'm trying to bounce a few test sounds to show my band. I had a desktop with a quad core before which could handle that just fine, and now I have a laptop with an i7, which is 8 cores. And the CPU usage bar is under 20% so it can't be that... it's kinda baffling.

Ok I figured it out- it was that I'm using Mellowmuse's IR1A impulse loader, and I hadn't put the license key in the DAE Plugins folder. Did that and it's fixed.
