Melodyne Plug-in issues

When get home tonight from work ...I'm going to try this Melodyne tuning the bass thing....Please other ppl try this and post there experience also...Im curious about this...makes alot of since actually.

James do you ever do anything like this?

yeah Ermin, i wouldn't leave the Melo-plug live.. get your audio corrected properly then bounce the track and replace the original audio with it so you can remove the plug.

That was essentially what I was trying to do. There was no audible time shift when I first added the corrections and played back. It was only upon bouncing, or other signal processes that everything shifted off-time for whatever reason. I couldn't get a time-synched bounce from it for whatever reason. I imagine the situation might be different if I were running ProTools (ie. a better DAW) and could print directly onto a new track via routing. To be honest, I don't even know of a convenient way to print real-time plugs to audio in Cubase.

I'll see how well the stand-alone version works before I move back to Antares.
