You folks don't know how good you have it in California! This summer, New York has been hotter than hell! (Not to quote KISS, or anything).

We have been in the upper 90's with high humidity all summer. Today we have rainstorms.

Holy poomoli!!! I was in a very very old building in the 4th floor downtown L.A. rehearsing when it hit. A very unnerving but gentle reminder of how little we really are in this world.

Never felt it here in hb, but heard about it. Earthquakes are kinda fun actually (providing they aren't too big). Carpet surfin, that's a new one hahaha. My biggest ride was the Whittier quake, damned there knocked me off the board!
