To be honest, I don't like the way you replied to JenniferLynn's post about "The Phantom of the Opera" (in this thread: http://www.ultimatemetal.com/forum/seventh-wonder/650623-tommys-vocal-influences.html ):

One of the greatest musicals EVER... I've got the soundtrack on my iPod... Stranger Than you Dreamt It is probably my favorite for that first real hint of creepy Phantom factor

I loved the movie too... Saw it MANY times in the movie theater

Can someone recommend three songs for me to listen to first? I just noticed that Seventh Wonder has a forum here and I have a friend who is a fan. I have heard one ballad from.... shittt... I don't remember the album name. But I really dug it. Give me moar!

- From 'Mercy Falls': Hide and Seek worship
- From 'The Great Escape': King of Whitewater (Very diverse)

By the way, the ballad you're referring to could be either 'Pieces' (WITW), 'Tears for a Father', 'Tears for a Son', 'One last Goodbye (all from MF) or 'Long Way Home' (TGE).

All good introductory songs in my opinion. It was Unbreakable that really got me (or got me enough to get Mercy Falls. It was listening to that entire album that made me a huge fan).

My first poose gimples SW song moment - hearing Tears for a Father... WOW... just plain wow... I got teary eyed and it solidified them as my new all time favorite band

And Kazar isn't kidding - any song of theirs is amazing... Mind bogglingly talented musicians...

You won't go wrong with the whole Mercy Falls album. But if I had to pick a few songs.....

And if you want something more "poppy" go with Alley Cat. Very melodic.

Thanks guys. Been listening through all these songs and they sound good. I actually started with the title track for Waiting in the Wings and went from there forward through the songs listed in this thread.

The ballad I heard before from my friend was One Last Goodbye and it is still the best song I heard out of all these with Hide and Seek coming in at a close second but both being quite different in comparison.
