Hi guys,

has anyone got pics of their mesa cabs insides? the guts? from the back? So that I can see how the cavaties are set up? How the speakers sit etc.?

Thanks!

couldn't tell ya, it just sounds better:lol: Checked it out against my friend's Marshall 1960 and I think the wood might be of higher standard, and of course the oversized factor. I gotta go so I'll take the photos later and hopefully they'll be up tonight.

that would be most kind of you... I would like to see what makes that cab so special? Other than the V30's...

It's the composition of the wood/thickness/construction that makes cab's sound the way they do. For instance my XXX cab with v30's does not sound anything like a marshall/mesa/vht/bogner cab, since it is built with much poorer standards.

If thats the case it does sound good. Ive never heard it so that wasnt actually me saying it sucks ive just heard a lot say its horrible esp compared to the mighty ball sack juice wine that is a Mesa recto cab. Of which I want somebody to give me....for a small herring named Rodger...

took the photos, i'll post them during class tomorrow

btw i've used the marshall cab and it's ok by me but I prefer both of the mesas. The marshall sounds a little fizzier but could be cleaned up with a good eq

Today I had to take the back off my Framus Dragon cab to retreive a lose wheel assembly part, so I took some pics which I will upload later for the sake of comparisson and discussion when the Mesa pics are up.

Okay these photos are from a shitty webcam but kiss my ass.:kickass: Maybe I'll borrow a digital camera later.

I got this used and the dimensions are not what either of the cabs are supposed to be accorded to the mesa site but I've deducted from the grey piping along the front of the cabinet that it's probably a traditional cabinet from before they were called stiletto cabinets. Unless someone wants to correct me, be my guest

Broody, if this helps, my cab measures 750mm X750mm and definitely is a Traditional Rectifier Cab. It has a sticker on it to prove it. and has grey piping, although I never noticed it until you mentioned it. Looks just look yours with the Rev sitting on top of it (sizewise) look at my avatar. But my Logo's are the right way around, dude you got ripped off. :p Also, the chrome, I'll do you a favour and take that off your hands and give you my classy flat black grill, yes, truly, no charge as long as you take care of postage. :p
