Mesa Stiletto Vs Recto 2x12 cab or A.N. Other

Am looking for some advice on a decent 2x12 cabinet. There's a load of quality kit available - this is making it hard to settle on one. I'm considering a Mesa 2 x 12 but am unsure about the tonal differences between the Stiletto and the Recto...

Which would suit metalcore/hardcore tones the best? I like my chug to be tight.
Amp is a 6505+

I would totally go for the Recto, cuz they don't make a vertical Stiletto 2x12, and trust me, for live playing the vertical is a godsend (I have an old Mesa vert. 2x12)

Whoa, that Engl looks fucking PERFECT, though there seems to be a bit of misinformation, cuz they say it's the standard with a siberian birch plywood baffle and standard plywood everywhere else, and that cab comes with V60's (which are apparently really middy and way harder to record than V30s, which they have in the Pro model)
