hey, was just wondering if anyone has an idea why there is no bass credit on this album????

Tad confused, if someone could help clear this up it would be greatly appreciated....too many fights over the coffee table at home discussing wether this studio album contains a bass.....or just two many 8string beatsy guitars.......mmm :headbang:

Thordendals solo album is fucking brilliant. Better than anything Meshuggah has put out. Allan Holdsworth worship.

I like old Meshuggah but 'catch 33' is annoying. Meshuggah has been annoying, uninspired and effortless for years now. They use 8 string guitars not not doing anything at all with them. They have a great drummer but use a programmed drum machine on the lastest album. They just sound like a bunch of lazy fucks. The band now comes off repetitive and tedious, not that they were not repetitive before but they had more, better tempo changes. There rythmn section on DEI is crushing. Now there guitars sound ridiculous, pruduction jobs are crap.

They really need to reinvent themselves.

They have no reason to reinvent themselves when they're only getting more popular, which is obviously their motive with this project.

Ummm, you're all wrong. If anything, they got LESS popular with this project. It's my favorite Meshuggah album by a wide margin.
