Ummm........no not all songs sound the fucking same. Do you never listen to the first part of a song to see which song it is? Thats really hard to do when they all start out with the same fucking guitar sound with riffs that sound the same as the song before it. Get creative with it really...mix it up.

stop bashing the new meshuggah album! it kicks ass. all the songs may be in 4/4 yes. but that doesnt mean a god damn thing. dream theater write alot of really intense riffs with wierd timings, and they are incredibly difficult to play, but they are nothing compared to the difficulty and complexity of meshuggah's riffs.
they went to the next level with Nothing, and if you dont agree, you simply just dont understand. its no more simplistic than any of their other albums. they perfectly integrated the 8th string in with this album. its something new, something totally unique and more original than ever. this is MESHUGGAH, not sonata arctica.

I like the new disc, sure, its not as complex (at least, I don't think it is...) as Chaosphere or DEI, but man, the solo's are still as mind-numbing as earlier works, Tomas Haake still off-beats like a man possessed, and every song still teeters on the edge of an all-out metal assault and funkified jazz-fusion. Not many other bands can lay claim to something like that.
