meshuggah paddy thinks they are great

I have come to realize something, alot of metal musicians are completely devoid of good taste in music. So them praising their music means about squat.

Strapping Young Lad have this little tendency to remind me ALOT of Meshuggah. Coprofago - Unorthodox Creative Criteria = Meshuggah with a jazzier sound.

They do not have "the most distinctive sound in metal today." I can thing of many other bands with more distinct sounds, Acid Bath, Mirrorthrone, Arcturus, Elvenking to name a few.

EDIT: If you are a "know it all" Paddy, than I am the fucking God of Knowledge.

Oh, I'm not saying that all of them are but I hear so many of them interviews praising bands like Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir and other shitty bands like that. Portnoy being the biggest committer of the crime.
