So people on RYM have rated the new Amorphis highly. It's #5 for the year. I'm listening to it now and it sounds like everything else they've done since Eclipse. I have yet to check out Circle because I wasn't really sold on Beginning of Times.

So people on RYM have rated the new Amorphis highly. It's #5 for the year. I'm listening to it now and it sounds like everything else they've done since Eclipse.

The sound shares the foundation, yes, but there's no other Tomi Joutsen album this progressive and heavy. Doesn't take a lot of focus to notice the absolute beast of a vocal performance, at least.

Teuton are releasing their promo on vinyl, remastered with a better sound (apparently) so I'm definitely awaiting this piece of vinyl.
Lately I'm being much more picky with what I'm buying on vinyl, but I need this.
