Musically I think the title track to Repentless is pretty awesome. The lyrics on the other hand are abysmal. Whenever I hear it I expect Tom to throw in a "DON'T YOU FUCKIN JUDGE ME!!!" at some point. The other songs they've released so far didn't sound all that memorable.

the production is awful the riffs are awful the vocals are awful everything is awful. the new disturbed is probably better

well from what i've heard of their 21st century stuff i've only liked the occasional song here and there, i thought the last album p much sucked, and i'm not exactly the biggest fan of bruce-helmed maiden in the first place, so i was surprised to be digging it albeit in a mild sorta way. i'm not sure i'd wanna sit and listen to the whole thing very often though, jesus christ that shit is long.

I think both OBAB and Stone's Reach are excellent. Fairly similar in style, even though there are some differences in how keyboards are used.

Similar in style, but Stone's Reach is much, much better. It's got some amazingly powerful riffs. Sun's Delusion is such a kick ass song.
