Metal 2017

Or, most people are able to form opinions on a band based on listening to a few songs, and that's fine because most bands have a cohesive sound at the very least for each album. I've heard enough Trivium to know they do nothing for me and I don't need to waste hours upon hours listening to a band's music to come to that conclusion.

So unless Trivium plan to go from what they did and currently do, to sounding like Attacker or Ride the Lightning, I really don't see why your initial triggered question about judging an album by one song is valid in any way whatsoever. Only a tard can't understand something that basic.

Got a bunch of new releases heading my way early next week.

Enslaved - E
Paradise Lost - Medusa
Iron Monkey - 9-13
Sorcerer - The Crowning of the Fire King
Exhumed - Death Revenge
Gwar - The Blood of the Gods

These are all 10.69 or less on amazon right now.

The new Exhumed is fucking vicious. 100% razorback splatter metal approved.

Let me know how that Sorcerer album is. Been meaning to check them out more.

Don't recommend it. It's pretty boring and something about the production makes it play less like "epic doom metal" and more like one of those faceless new wave of traditional heavy metal bands. I played it back to back with the new Gwar, and while I'm not that big of a fan of Gwar, it was clearly the better album.

It's not terrible but nah, not feeling it.
