Metal 2017

Real rough mix of a new black metal project I'm playing bass for. I've got a 8/10 hangover on this recording and it took everything in me to just stand up. Vocals will be coming in the next few weeks and then it's getting sent for mixing/mastering.

Reactions: Evil Dead
Tyrannosaurus Wreck - Battle Royale
(This band is a grungy mish-mash of hardcore punk, thrash metal, stoner metal and sludge from New Zealand.)

Iron Griffin - Journey to the Castle of King
(Epic heavy metal magick from Finland.)

Krossfyre - Burning Torches
(Heavy as fuck black/death/thrash from Spain.)

Longbarrow - The Cold Walls of the Heiress' Tomb
(American death/doom metal.)

Gutsnagged - Raping a Communist with Her Shattered Bong

Battle Raider - Battle Raider
(Dangerous and powerful heavy metal from Mexico City.)

Mongrel's Cross - Neurian Transformation
(Evil and satanic black/thrash from Australia. I fucking love these guys.)

War Possession - Operation Neptune
(War-like Greek death metal. No nonsense, MASSIVE sound.)

Spirit Adrift - Curse of Conception
(Majestic and fantastic doom metal from America, for me a big improvement of their debut.)

Weapönizer - Hellbound
(Post-apocalyptic slicing black/thrash with very brutal drumming. Very violent sound, I am a huge fan already.)

Sgt. Slime - Nuclear Tan
(Amateurish but good imo crossover thrash from Finland.)

Stallion - Underground Society
(Classic German heavy metal with some speed elements.)

Harlott - The Penitent
(Tough Australian thrash metal.)

Vampire - With Primeval Force
(Horrific Swedish death metal.)

Entrench - Through the Walls of Flesh
(Swedish thrash metal on the always quality-producing I Hate Records.)

Hellcannon - Return to the Wasteland
(Destructive thrash metal from Buffalo, New York.)

Suppressive Fire - Nature of War
(War-like black/thrash from North Carolina.)

Mountaineer - Volume 1 & 2
(Really cool Canadian heavy metal, this release combines their debut full length and a follow-up EP, both released in 2017.)

Tchornobog - Tchornobog

(Black/death/doom metal from America, a one-man project and really quite monstrous.)

Dead Lord - Kill Them All
(Classic sounding heavy metal/hard rock band from Sweden. Is it just me or has this album not been talked about here yet? Kinda surprised if so.)

Reactions: Draehl and Baroque
Hacavitz - Rabid the Moon
(Mexican black metal.)

Primus - The Seven
(Obviously not metal but whatever. Legendary American bassed out weirdo rock outfit.)

Savage Master - Burning Leather
(Killer American rockin' heavy metal band, with a vocalist in the true spirit of Wendy O Williams.)

Scatology Secretion - Obscene Parasitic Cleansing
(Brutal death metal with members from both America and Spain.)

Horrified - Allure of the Fallen
(British black/death metal band with a melodic twist.)

Sons of Crom - The Black Tower
(Epic heavy metal duo with members from Sweden and Finland respectively. Really manly fantasy stuff, this time around with some black metal influences.)

The Lurking Fear - The Infernal Dread
(Lovecraftian Swedeath, pretty fucking good. Reminds me of Massive Killing Capacity at times.)

Execration - Eternal Recurrence
(Norwegian death metal and as is usual with Norwegian death metal, it is always a bit unorthodox.)

Expulsion - Total Human Genocide
(Californian death metal with some grinding twists.)

Vallenfyre - Kill All your Masters
(That fucking buzzsaw tone! Hard to believe this band is British. Has some doomy touches.)

Jag Panzer - Far Beyond All Fear
(What can I say? Legendary USPM band and this actually really impressed me! Though it's less related to their early manly masculine stuff and is a little more light and dare I say majestic.)

Kadavar - Die Baby Die
(Swedish jamming hard rock band, doing what they do best.)

Haemorrhage - Nauseating Employments
(Legendary Spanish goregrinders. This is fucking killer.)

Evil Invaders - Mental Penitentiary
(Ripping and soaring speed metal from Belgium. Wow!)

Cassetteisgod your epic posts breaks my phone. :)

Okay, so I cleaned up as many large video posts as I could, hopefully from here on out less people are fucked over by my yuge comments.

Moongates Guardian - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet
(Epic, atmospheric Russian black metal inspired by Tolkien.)

Druid Lord - House of Dripping Gore
(Floridian death/doom, heavy horror atmospheres herein.)

Forgot all about that Sons of Crom album. I hope it's good.

I finally got around to playing it today. Man, do you remember their older material having black metal elements? Because this album does.

Pretty mediocre.
