Metal 2017

Okay, so I cleaned up as many large video posts as I could, hopefully from here on out less people are fucked over by my yuge comments.

Moongates Guardian - Where Many Paths and Errands Meet
(Epic, atmospheric Russian black metal inspired by Tolkien.)

Druid Lord - House of Dripping Gore
(Floridian death/doom, heavy horror atmospheres herein.)

I finally got around to playing it today. Man, do you remember their older material having black metal elements? Because this album does.

Cheers buddy! Didnt mean to cause you any trouble!

Kadavar - Rough Times pre order cd is listed on amazon for $1.99 for some reason right now.

If you're interested at all, now'd be the time.

Manilla Road announced a tour date here. Probably won't go.

Edit: 15 USD for a ticket. Definitely not worth that.

Use one of your guns and shoot yourself in the dick for me.

New stuff:

Kawir - Agamemnon
(Greek black metal legends. @Master_Yoda77.)

Blood - Breed of the Jackal
(Legendary German deathgrinders.)

Suffer in Paradise - Ephemere

(Russian funeral doom metal.)

Game Over - Blessed are the Heretics

(Italian thrash metal EP, new album out very soon.)

Streamer - Soulless

(Classic heavy metal from Spain.)

Karanlik - Darzaman

(Turkish black metal.)

Rifft - The Never Nowhere

(American post/doom/stoner metal band, actually not too bad given that description.)

A Tree of Signs - Fall of the Neophyte

(Rough mix of a track from Portuguese psychedelic doom metal band's new album.)

Pneuma Hagion - Rituals of Extinction

(One-man Texan black/death metal band.)

Kav - Chattering Medicine

(German black/death metal band now located in America.)

Fuck yeah, new Kawir. Not necessarily my favorite song of theirs, but it's still good. This one sounds even more Manowar than their other stuff! How is this even black metal anymore?

Liver Killer - Puke
(Spanish crossover/party thrash, strange production.)

Seduced - In Your Blue Eyes
(Austrian black/death metal with some thrash metal elements apparently.)

Sorcerer - Sirens
(This track was released already as a single but anyway, their new album is almost out. Swedish epic doom metal.)

Dawn Ray'd - The Unlawful Assembly
(British atmospheric black metal band.)

Holycide - Deserve to be Erased
(Debut thrash metal album from Spain.)

Kaasibal - The Void Nightmare
(Tripped out Mexican stoner doom metal.)

Wastes - Part VI
(Dismal as fuck French funeral doom. I'm sensing some sludge metal influences a la stuff like Fleshpress.)

Madrost - The Essence of Time Matches No Flesh
(Californian death/thrash, RYM also calls it ''technical'' but I'll allow genre connoisseurs to decide that.)

Gorod - Kiss the Freak
(New EP by French progressive/technical thrash metal band Gorod. I think maybe @TechnicalBarbarity has already mentioned this.)

Witheria - Within the Multitude of Slave Brains
(French thrash metal, really cool cover art too.)

Ancient Dome - The Void Unending
(Italian science fiction themed thrash metal.)

Tanator - Degradation of Mankind
(Ruthless Russian black/thrash, has an Australian vibe.)

YP (aka Yliluonnollinen Parlamentti) - Conflagrations
(One-man death/thrash from Finland.)

Scythemaster - Subhuman Radiation Mutants
(Black/thrash band from Indiana.)

Amken - Theater of the Absurd
(Classic thrash metal from Greece.)

Recent Coffins live footage, they sound so mean live. Uchino reminds me of the actor Anthony Wong.

Orm - Blood of your Blood
(Epic/melodic black metal from Denmark.)

(Russian black/death metal.)

Ritualization - Sacraments to the Sons of the Abyss
(French black/death metal.)

Summon - Aesthetics of Demise

Hagzissa - Die Pforte (A Speech Above the Moor)
(Austrian folkloric black metal.)

Crurifragium - Beasts of the Temple of Satan
(Washingtonian black/death metal.)

That EP sounded pretty killer though, I should probably check that band out properly.

they have this weird signature grooveiness to a lot of their tracks that separates them from the rest. One of the best tech death metal band of all time imo

Every one of their albums is good. but If anything you should definitely check out Leading Vision, that album is a fucking masterpiece imo, i would post a song form it has about 6-7 tracks that i would consider tech-death perfection. Process of a New Decline is up there too but im not so sure you'd enjoy that one.

Here's one of their more proggy songs from their 2011 EP Transcendance ...
