if you go to www.metal-archives.com you can search by country and see what bands the country of choice has to offer for example a recent search shows that Iraq has one metal band at the moment.

I like so many bands (im 32 so im a old man lol ) its not even funny... everything from the 70's (Black Sabbath) to the 80's (early metallica, slayer, judas priest, iron maiden, Ozzy, various thrash bands) to the present time (Black Dahlia Murder, Dimmu Borgir, Children of Bodom, etc.).. too many to list....
