Metal Machinery : An insight to Andy's drum mixing technique ?

I'd like to ask to ask if you've found metal machinery to be an insight to Andy's drum mixing technique.

I still use EZdrummer myself but if it's worth it, I'd upgrade to SD2 & purchase the library.
