Swedish metallers EVERGREY will make their first-ever headlining appearance in England on March 7 at The Underworld in Camden, London. Ticket information and other details are available at www.theunderworldcamden.co.uk.

As previously reported, EVERGREY have set "Monday Morning Apocalypse" as the title of their sixth studio album, due on April 4 via InsideOut Music. The follow-up to 2004's "The Inner Circle" was recorded at Division One Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden by the experienced production team of Sanken Sandquist and Stefan Glaumann, who have previously worked with such artists as RAMMSTEIN, BON JOVI, BRITNEY SPEARS and DEF LEPPARD. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Monday Morning Apocalypse", "Unspeakable" and "At a Loss for Words".

EVERGREY have been nominated for a Swedish "Grammy" in the "Best Music DVD" category for their "A Night to Remember" set, which came out last year. Other nominees in the "Best Music DVD" category are ABBA, CORNELIS VREESWIJK, MARIT BERGMAN and TIMBUKTU.

The "Grammis" awards ceremony will be held on February 7 at Cirkus in Stockholm and will be aired live both on national television (TV4) and radio (P4).

EVERGREY have been confirmed as one of the headliners of ProgPower USA VII festival, set to take place on Friday and Saturday, September 15 and 16 at Earthlink Live in Atlanta. Tickets will go on sale Saturday, April 1 at 10 a.m. EST via all Ticketmaster outlets. Only 900 tickets will be made available to the public. Advance Gold Badges, which presently have a two-year wait list, are sold out.

COLDSEED, the new band featuring former BLIND GUARDIAN/current SAVAGE CIRCUS skinsman Thomen Stauch and SOILWORK singer Björn "Speed" Strid, will begin mixing their debut album on February 5 with engineer Charly Czajkowsky. The CD will be completed by the end of the month for a spring release via Nuclear Blast Records. Rough-mix audio samples of two tracks from the upcoming CD are available at the band's official web site: "Democracy Lesson" (mp3) and "On My Way" (mp3).

Strid had previously described COLDSEED's music as "a mixture between RAMMSTEIN and ALICE IN CHAINS."

I wonder why they made a point of stating this so explicitly in their press release? I'm sure they're good producers, and the album will sound clear and sharp, but do those credentials really mean anything to the sort of people who are likely to read Evergrey press releases? :-)

Heh, that's not the best description... you could mix Rammstein and Alice In Chains in a lot of different ways. This could be really cool or it could really suck...
