Metal Project from Belarus

Here's a sample of our metal project, where I tried to employ a mastering trick I've picked up at this forum, with two instances of Gclip and a limiter that shaves around 1 db. The goal was to reach -9 RMS without killing the drums.

Guitars were quadtracked in my bedroom, mixing and "mastering" were done there as well

Any feedbacks on the balance and tone are welcome, as my control equipment is far from being perfect. Low mids and mids are usually a PITA.

That first riff is a tiny bit like Psychosocial by Slipknot. Other than that it sounds quite nice. I did notice a little some timing issues during that breakdown too.

Never listened to Slipknot, actually, but yeah, now I notice some likeness
Anyways, both riffs are very simple.

Update: we've finally recorded a Music Man Stingray bass through a MXR preamp. I've uploaded a new track.
