METAL song TO MIX for you, guys! :)

Great song,i cind of like it :)
Shadow_Walker realy a great kick drum.
That's the kind of kick drum I have in mind for our own album.
The kick they recorded at the studio is distorted and overall sounds like crap.... maby you wanna share soms tips, samples?
I've already tried drumagog, but still needs hands-on apreach when it comes to triggering fast stuff (also i still get machine like effects)
I've tried BFD,it's a possibility I keep open,but I don't really like the kicks in there.

Thanks in advance!
hope to hear from you.

Hey, thanks dudes :), I'm glad you like it.

Bass went through Ampeg SVX amp and cab sims (svt4 pro+svt410h, 87 on axis), then some narrow eq cuts at 100hz, 4khz and 5,3khz, also a wider cut at about 180hz and a little low and high shelving.

The kick is 15% the first one in DFH EZX and the rest is a blend of the kick sample Andy gave us and a couple of other samples mixed together. I used aptrigga but now I see it missed some of the faster kick parts, easy to fix though.
Then the kick is compressed with an attack of 18ms and 4:0 ratio.

Let me start by saying hello! I am new here, but I have actually been visiting this forum for quite some time :) Anyways, this means I know there are some great people here and valuable knowledge to be found!

I thought I might offer a little contribution. The mix is far from perfect, but between a demanding job, girlfriend and dog, tweaking time is quite restricted :)
Here it is:

Sat up late yesterday, so I couldn´t listen on my monitors...

Thanks.

Edit: If anyone´s interested, here´s another version with the Sonnox Inflator I´m trying out. Any preference?
