[Metalcore/Melodic Metal] Need help to finalize the Mix!

Hi,

this is my first post of a mix here.


I have record a young metalcore/melodic metal band and only one song.


The mix is nearly final, but it would be nice to hear your opinions to finalize it!
(it is not the full length, just the end of the song)



Info:
- Drums: Steven Slate Drums
- Guitars: Epiphone Les Paul (passiv pickups) > Maxon OD-9 > Peavey 6505 (green channel) > Mesa (Stiletto) 4x12" > Shure SM57 > Motu 896 (quad tracked)
- Bass: IBANEZ EDB-405 > Podfarm

- Vocals are not recorded yet.

very nice guitar tone you got going on there, cymbals sound pretty fake and hard to make out, try changing them for other slate samples. also its quite hard to make out the bass, it dosent cut through the mix very well. other than that the whole mix is pretty well balanced. good job

hey, thanks a lot!

yeah, the cymbals sounds pretty fake ... maybe i could test the cymbals from addictive drums.

and yes, I think I should get the bass a little bit to the front by turn up the mids.


i will do these adjustments when the vocals are recorded.





any other opinions?
