Gods ? You mean like Manowar ? c'mon dude ... metallica doesn't give a damn about their fans or their music ... they are recording a new album only for the money , they are not the band they used to be ...

Dude. That whole "Metallica doesn't give a shit about their fans" bullshit is overplayed. You could say that about many, many bands. Nobody has a gun to their head telling them to buy a Metallica record. They have more money than god, they could happily retire with a respectable career behind them, but they continue because they like what they do. Their live show is STILL amazing, they hold meet and greets before every show, (which means alot for some fans) they have a fanclub that loses money each year, they are more in touch with their fans than alot of bands. You're right. Metallica aren't the band they used to be. What band is that has had as long of a career as they have. Black Sabbath has shit albums in their library, so does Megadeth, so does Slayer, Led Zeppelin, etc. Metallica paved the way for alot of bands and deserve respect.
