Metallica's Return Album

Man I'm serious. Since the mid 80s I always thought Metallica were over rated. No my feelings on it have been confirmed - take a simple look at the over recent years. Fucking pathetic assholes polluted by their own fame.

Metallica havent put out a consistantly good album for like 18 years, I dont thinkn that they will start now, however, the first new song that they played was ok, the other was a bit dodgey

IMHO, 'Master Of Puppets' owns just about any other metal album to date. Well, maybe not, but it's sure up there. I don't think you can ever take that away from Metallica.

However, these days... they really should give up. They're not even good live anymore

Mustaine a better singer than Hetfield... ? I mean, c'mon Metallica are out of shape for a fucking long time and from what I've seen from the vid, Hetfield whines like a shot dog but he still beats any studio Mustaine vox, let alone his live performances... Face it folks! It's not to discredit the band in any way, because you just get used to it and it kind of fits the music - but he IS a terrible singer. Megadeth beats Metallica nowadays but saying things like Mustaine>Hetfield is just like a toddler-metalhead thinking that the musicians from his favourite band are the most skilled in the world... :Smug:

I don't think they're the most skilled in the world by any means, I know few thrash musicians who I would say are more than above average. But i really can't see how anyone would think that any aspect of Metallica is better than Megadeth. Just the way I feel about the bands but I will not be swayed, not by greatness Master of Puppets or the pitifulness of Risk.

whatever anyone says about metallica, i still love it when i hear any pre-black album song anywhere. and i like more than a couple songs from the black album and load as well. metallica had much more class than megadeth ever did (mop and justice, especially), but they ruined it with reload and st anger. megadeth is certainly in better shape now than metallica. everybody's playing is super-sloppy live as well. cover bands usually play metallica songs better than they do in concerts. just check your local metal bar.
