FINAL SAY ON "ST.ANGER!!!"

I am not going to reply to all of this but only wanted to comment on the first part where you say that nothing should have to "grow" to your liking. I think that is BS. So, you have never heard a disc and felt luke warm to it, then a month or two later you pop it in and say wow, this aint so bad. Then when there is no hype,or build up you can listen to it and start to like it. Some music is challenging.

I misspoke. As a long time metallica fan and supporter, even the LOADS didn't have to grow on me. It was easily acceptable as an attempt at cracking hard rock. And I listened. For me, St. Anger was harder to accept right away, and for me...that just ain't right. I'm not speaking for all when I say it shouldn't have to grow on you...I meant that it didn't feel right for me.

By the way. I think coffee sucks still. Same w/ beer. If I get fucked up, I must consume unholy amounts of alcohol. Why drink what I consider horse piss to taste like when god created Smirinoff. Or Jagermeister?

Good post.

Horns! \m/
