Metallum Maximum Aeturnum!!

HOLY SHIT!!!!! They listened to us!!!!!! Awesome, I would really like to hear from someone who was there with all the details, what happened when you 1st got there, were the guys cordial to ya? Do tell so the people like me who do not live close enough couldn't go know the details, tell us EVERYTHING! Don't leave anything out, did you get anything from the band?

Also a big thanks to ANTHRAX for listening to the people, can't wait for this! This made my day!!!!!!!

I got there aound seven and there was a line in 15 degree weather so I split grabbed a beer and a few shots of tequilla to keep warm. Upon returning we then waited inside the stairwell for half an hour before we where aloud to enter the studio (at least the stairwell was warm). Then we walked in, Dirk checked off our names (thanks man) and we waited for about fifteen more minutes. At that point the band walked out, made some idle chatter and then jumped into Anthrax (the song). I forgot the words but my buddy Gene sang along with that song as well as every word of every tune they played. You all know the set list so I wont list that here. Afterwards They signed autograps and bullshited with us fans for about 45 minutes or so. As always everyone was really cool. The wife's and wives to be were there also. I spotted Scotts fiance as well as who I thought was Charlie's wife. I think her name is Sandra but I wasnt shure if it was her or not.
Afterwards I think the band and crew went to some Italian restraunt that Scott always gives props to. Me and my partner in crime went with Alexstomp and his brother over to the Rodeo Bar for food and drinks ( corner of 7th and 23rd). I had a blast but could only hang till 1am cause I had in interview this morning at 7. Which by the sucked! The drive home is normally 45 minutes but with the snow it took me two hours to get home. Any questions?

Damn, I would have missed the interview. What do you do for a living? Glad you had fun and did you tip your bartenders and waitresses well?

Last night was amazing and I must give a huge thanks to Charlie B for putting my name on the guestlist. I wasn't a contest winner and went there last night to see if I could get in anyway. I said my name to the guy at the front desk and explained that I wasn't a winner but before I could finish, he said, "yeah, you're name's here, Charlie added it". As for the show, it was awesome to hear some of those old gems and watching Scott rip it up from only two feet away is something I'll remember forever. I got the pick Scott used all night and you should see the condition it's in!!! It's completely fucked which is some doing considering he only used it on 10 songs. I was thinking as well that given the number of songs posted on the front page, maybe they're gonna release the CD with a bonus DVD (similar to St Anger) with last nights footage. I hope they don't edit it as it was really cool hearing the chat in between songs.

Finally, it's ME you all have to thank for them playing Among The Living. They were gonna do Antisocial when Bush says "no covers" and I shouted "Among The Living" and they said, "OK...Among The Living"

Indians and Lone Justice made it. Blah.

Well, I tell you what: Maybe Bush-ified versions of those songs will bring them back to life.

Other than that, that's almost exactly what I voted for, with the exception of Skeletons in the Closet and Finale.

Watching Charlie play Nobody Knows from 10 feet away would be towards the top of my list of 100 things I would like to do before I die.

You lucky fuckin bastards..................

I think Anthrax has done a Terrific job of pickin the obscure and the popular. Great fuckin News!!!!!!

That's the whole set of songs for the CD. It came straight from anthrax.com. Good to see they added "I Am the Law." Brent forgot to put it on the site originally and blab had it missing. I IMed Brent. I emailed blab.

I hope they do the full version of "Among the Living."
