Micing guitar amps???

Hello everyone, again I have a question regarding recording so any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm just curious if anyone has any tips on micing electric guitar. I'm playing out of a Peavey 5150 combo amp and I'm using a Samson Q7 mic. Just any basic tips on the best mic placement. Any random tips are welcome! I just want clear distinct biting heavy distorted guitar without any fuzzy hiss lingering throughout the background.
