hey guys i jus got the mick thompson siganture emty's and i was going to install it into my esp f-250. prior my pickups are esp-emg lh 300 passives. would it work if i installed the active mick thompson in the bridge but keep the passive emg lh 300 in the neck? would there be any problems?

I don't know about the duncans, but usually actives have 25k pots (your ltd has most likely 500k pots installed).
if you wanna keep both pups in the guit, you'll need seperate volume controls...and the middle position will still sound shite

I has a passive and an active on a guitar for a couple years.
Lasse's right about the volumes pot, they must be different, and you could disconnect middle position toggle switch and use it as a killswitch, that's what I did.
Otherwise, it works generally ok
